UTLA Members not assigned to a single school site should complete the declaration form to be on the school roster where you work more than 50% of the time and to be assigned to a UTLA Area. This allows itinerants to vote and run as leaders at your school and Area, including being part of the Area Steering Committee and Bargaining Team.

Sara McDonald
Sara McDonald has been working with LAUSD in Central and South since 2017. She studied speech at the University of Arizona, but is a California girl at heart, so she had to come back to the coast! This is her third year as Chapter Chair with UTLA.

Sally Machado
Sally Machado
Sally Machado has been with LAUSD since 2018 and currently works in the North region. She graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and primarily loves working with students who use AAC devices as well as students enrolled in the district’s Career and Transition Centers (CTC). This will be her first year as a Chapter Chair with UTLA and is excited to be part of such a fabulous team.
